Outfit Post #58: Nadia

I’ll be honest, the Nadia Aboulhosn for Addition Elle collection, while beautiful, is a bit racy for me. That said, I LOVE this top. I went back to AE two days in a row just to buy it.

Outfit Post #55: Simple Sundress

I have a lot of fancier dresses that I wear mostly to work, but not many casual ones. I found this dress at Old Navy in the Spring some time, before the weather became warm enough to wear it. It was super simple and super comfy, and I felt it would be great to have around for the summer. So great, in fact, that I bought two 🙂

Outfit Post #54: Glammed Up to Folked Up

I recently bought this dress from Ricki’s. One of the things I love about it is its versatility. The first pictures show how I’d wear it out to dinner for a date night. The second set are from the Folk Festival this weekend, where I had a chance to bring out the birks! 😉

Outfit Post #53: Fatkini #3

This year, Gabi Fresh for Swimsuits for All came out with the best line of plus size swimwear, IMHO. I can’t wait to see more. The future has never been brighter for fatkinis!

Accessories Shopping at Forever 21: NOT by Choice

The good thing about Forever 21 is that they offer plus sizes. Yay! The bad thing? They don’t offer them in-store in Vancouver. Boo! Another good thing is that when I order clothes online and they don’t work out, I can return them to the brick-and-mortar store to avoid extra shipping costs. Yay! Another bad thing is that they don’t do cash refunds, so when I return something, all I get is store credit. Double boo!! So, if you’re following the story here, what I’m left with is money to spend at Forever 21 in Vancouver, but nothing to spend it on. Except accessories. This is disappointing and frustrating. And this is what it looks like:

Hmm, how many pairs of red heels do I need??

Maybe I'll buy a hat...

I kinda like this one.

Ooo, I need a new pair of workout shorts!

Ah, nope, not gonna work!

Conclusion: Get with the program Forever 21 in Vancouver! This girl’s got money to spend and a cute, fat body to dress!

Outfit Post #50: Celebrate!

When I found out I was headed to a tropical locale for my recent holiday, this dress seemed like the perfect addition to my wardrobe. It inspired a lot of my fashion choices while there, including my jewelry and even my toenail polish color!
