Outfit Post #31: The One Piece

Weirdly, now that I’m wearing fatkini’s, I’ve become less interested in one-piece swimsuits. I thought that fatkini’s wouldn’t be as comfortable, but I’m finding the opposite is true. I guess it makes sense – when you’re wet, the less clothes the better, comfort-wise. Nonetheless, I quite like this one piece I bought from Monif C., and enthusiastically applaud her gorgeous selection of plus-size swimwear: monifc.com

  1. You’re so right about “when you’re wet, the less clothes the better.” This looks really great! Maybe someday I’ll be brave enough to show more of my skin again. You’re an inspiration, M.

    • Aw, thanks Coco! You totally should! I think you’d look fab in a two-piece! There’s still plenty of summer left… 😉

  2. Great points, wear whatever is comfortable. That said I like a one-piece sometimes and Monif has nice stuff…maybe you’ll show us how one looks on you. Thanks for the great post….as usual, you look perfect!

    • Thanks so much J! It’s true, one-pieces can be great, especially some of the newer ones that are available in plus sizes.

  3. Pretty in pink ! The ‘cover up’ & beach bag are a perfect match.
Any Island West Coast wear ? These shots look like a tropical location.

    • Thanks Anne! This was indeed a tropical locale. I may have a West Coast swimwear post in the future. Stay tuned! 🙂
