I’ve been trying to add more casual, summer sundresses to my wardrobe. Here’s one of my new acquisitions.

I love the color of this dress. And, anyone who knows me well knows how much I love Teal.
I’ve long admired a white jean…on the rack. However, whenever I tried a pair on, I became convinced that white jeans were developed as an international conspiracy to create an article of clothing LESS flattering than complete nudity. You know, a pair of pants that say “Hey leg cellulite, let’s make YOU the star of the show!” And while I’m not at all ashamed of my cellulite, I’m rarely looking for a pant that makes it the focal point of my look. Then I found these at http://thebay.com and I started to think that maybe everything was going to be ok.
This post is very much a celebration of the fact that, for the first time, I went on vacation with only 2-piece swimsuits. No 1-piece to fall back on. For me, the joy is not about conforming to a certain beauty standard or showing certain parts of my body, but all about loving my body exactly as it is and wearing what makes me feel beautiful.
These are both from http://swimsuitsforall.com
Mon amour bought me this gorgeous Frye bag. Date night is the perfect time to show it off.
FYI: My shoes look beige is this pic, but they’re actually a really pretty rose color.
This is what I wore to my work holiday party this year. I would post my New Year’s Eve outfit, except that it consisted of underwear and a T-shirt, given that I spent a quiet night at home with my boo. TBH, I was pretty proud of the fact that I rang in the New Year without pants.
Plus-size dress lovers, check out http://nordstrom.com for a gorgeous selection of dresses. I found this one last spring. The rose color is so beautiful.
