Outfit Post #35: White Eyelet

I seem to have a black-and-white theme going for my last few posts and this one is no exception. I’ve wanted a white eyelet dress for awhile (you could say I’ve had my EYE out for one :P) and finally found one I really like. I’ve worn it with and without the belt. With the belt, I like to pair it with nude pumps. I think the white eyelet dress is classic, feminine, beautiful.

Outfit Post #34: Sweater Vest

This is hardly your typical sweater vest, but I like a cheeky title. Shout out and big thanks to TG for gifting me the midi ring. I love it! Speaking of my prairie peeps, I got the vest at a great plus-size clothing store in Saskatoon called A Bit More Hip. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend checking them out.

Outfit Post #32: Break the Rules, Crop the Top

When I was 13 years old, I lost a bunch of weight and decided I was ready for one of those elusive, for-thin-girls-only articles of clothing: the crop top. So, I took the bus to Mariposa and found myself a white, high-neck, sleeveless number that I thought was incredibly sexy and cool. I wore it only once, but man was I hot that day ;-). Since then I just assumed crop tops were not in the cards for me, much like bikinis. You know the rest of the story….

Outfit Post #31: The One Piece

Weirdly, now that I’m wearing fatkini’s, I’ve become less interested in one-piece swimsuits. I thought that fatkini’s wouldn’t be as comfortable, but I’m finding the opposite is true. I guess it makes sense – when you’re wet, the less clothes the better, comfort-wise. Nonetheless, I quite like this one piece I bought from Monif C., and enthusiastically applaud her gorgeous selection of plus-size swimwear: monifc.com
